iPhone App MotionX-GPS and LTE
MotionX-GPS and LTE are both very good apps, MotionX-GPS is a paid for app.
MotionX-LTE is the Free app.
It is an accurate and user friendly.
The guys at MotionX are so confident of their app, they are willing to give away a version, once you have tried their free version you will want to purchase their Full App and at only $2.99 available from the iTunes store.
MotionX for outdoor life especially all you Fitness Freaks, Walking, Hiking, Cycling, Biking, Sailing, Flying and Skiing.
I could also do a bit of a pre-planning by utilising Google Earth, to create compatible routes which could then be imported to my iPhone. Once MotionX is turned on and you hit the record button, it will record your route, speed, distance.
Your friends and family can also track your position directly from the Facebook app interface.
