iPhone App – Things, Task Management
THINGS is a beautiful focused and amazingly intuitive Task Manager. Other applications are either simple or too difficult to use. With THINGS it has the right balance between ease of use and powerful features.
You can even sync wirelessly with the desktop version of Things using Wi-Fi.
Collect new to dos in the Inbox.
The list of THINGS you want to complete today, due items will appear here in the Inbox.
The next list contains anything you want to do, Today.
The Next list contains anything you want to do as soon as you get to it.
Use Schedule for all to dos that you want to start at a later date, all items in your Schedule will move to your Inbox on the relevant day.
Someday as it says is for ideas you want to pursue in the future.
What’s Next
The Next List shows action steps from active projects and single to dos.
Note icons and due dates are only shown if you set attributes to an item.
To sort items by date tap the clock in the lower right corner, overdue items are marked with a red checkbox.
New To Do
An add icon is always available in the lower left in every list in Things.
No matter where you are in the application you can add New to Dos, just by clicking on the PLUS sign.
Upcoming Due Dates
Never miss a due date again, all you need to do is tap the STAR icon and all your items will appear with due dates.
Get started with Scheduled
If you do not want to start a task until a specific date, the Scheduled is your friend. Items in scheduled list are sorted by their start date. When the start day arrives they are moved into the Today List.
Smart about Today
The Today list is much smarter than only showing to-dos you explicitly marked for inclusion. It collects all over due items.
The Logbook
When you open up THINGS for the first time every day, all the to-dos completed on the previous day are automatically moved to the Logbook list.
